Collard and LeBlanc wed in Texas

Meade Morrow Collard and Earl James "Jim" LeBlanc were united in marriage in March 26 nuptials at the First United Methodist Church Westchase campus' Hinson Chapel in Houston with Pastor Leo Tyler officiating.

The bride, of Friendswood, Texas, is the daughter of Susanne C. Morrow of Carson City and the late Dr. T.K. Morrow.

The groom, of Houston, is the son of the late Earl and Dolores LeBlanc of Houma, La.

Meade is a 1972 graduate of Carson High School and earned masters degrees in business administration and communications from the University of Texas, Austin.

She is director of financial reporting and accounting for Reliant Energy of Houston.

Jim is a 1965 graduate of LSU, with a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering. He retired as general manager of the Houston region of Enron Energy Services and has had an extensive career in engineering and project management.

A reception was held immediately after the ceremony in the church atrium. A dinner and dance cruise for family and friends was held that evening aboard the Star Cruiser at Kemah, Texas.

The couple plans a honeymoon in the south of France in May.

They have made their home in Friendswood.
