Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• Joshua Euris Sharp, 25, of Carson City, was arrested at 1:57 p.m. Tuesday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor taking a motor vehicle without owner's permission and misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,000.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:
• Coroner call at 1:07 a.m. in the 200 block of Koontz Lane.
• A pedestrian suffered a broken leg when he was struck by a car at 5:36 p.m. at Division Street and Winnie Lane.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Tuesday:
• Caller reported at 1:47 a.m. finding a cash register next to a Dumpster on West Mains Street in Fernley.
• Accident at 1:29 p.m. in the 200 block of Riverboat Road in Dayton.
