Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Shannon Gatlin, 28, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 3:07 p.m. Wednesday in the 700 block of Old Clear Creek Road on suspicion of felony burglary. She was stopped by store security after allegedly trying to steal five digital cameras and three DVD players from Costco totaling $1,839. Bail was set at $25,000.

• Kevin Paul Boyd, 56, of Carson City, was arrested at 2:28 a.m. Thursday in the 400 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony probation violation. No bail was set.

• A 29-year-old state worker from Washoe Valley was arrested at 2:36 a.m. Thursday on Frontage Road and Bennett Avenue on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving, failure to maintain a single lane and reckless driving. A Carson City sheriff's sergeant patroling in the area witnessed the man wreck his vehicle when the man allegedly took a turn too fast. Neither the driver nor a passenger were injured. Bail was set at $1,576.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• A Carson City mother reported at 8:36 a.m. that her 17-year-old daughter didn't come home the previous evening.

• Coroner call at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 2:11 a.m.

• Report at 7:34 p.m. in the 1100 block of Calavares Drive of an attempted break-in.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Residential burglary report at 3:11 p.m. on Tamarack Street in Silver Springs.

• Domestic dispute at 5:57 p.m. on Desert Lakes Drive in Fernley.

• Report at 6:47 p.m. of a woman trying to break a car window outside a convenience store on Highway 50 Alternate in Fernley.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded recently:

• A father in Gold Hill reported at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday that his 43-year-old son had been missing for two days.

• Report at 4:14 p.m. Tuesday of an injured wild horse on Coyote Valley Way.

• Report at 11:28 p.m. Tuesday of a vehicle sliding off the road and incurring damage after swerving to avoid a wild horse at Sazarac and Cartwright roads.
