Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Suzanne Elisabeth White, 42, a paralegal from South Lake Tahoe, was arrested at 12:34 a.m. Thursday at Carson and Washington streets on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine. Also arrested was Steve Duane Turney, 49, of Stockton, Calif., on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine, misdemeanor speeding and driving on a suspended license.

• David James Fish, 29, of Carson City, was arrested at 8:32 p.m. Wednesday in the 1700 block of North Fall Street on suspicion of gross misdemeanor possession of a dangerous weapon. He allegedly had brass knuckles in his pocket. Bail was set at $2,500.

• Jesse James Owen, 29, a salesman from Reno, was arrested at 7:35 p.m. Tuesday after surrendering on a felony warrant for suspicion of possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $15,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Report at 2:20 p.m. of an evicted tenant threatening a landlord on Russell Way.

• A man reported at 4:05 p.m. he received a $2,500 check from someone for an item he was selling on Craigslist. The man was told to cash the check and send back to overage, a common Internet scam that leaves the person who cashes the check owning their bank money.

• A man reported at 4:44 p.m. that he paid for two cords of wood but the business only delivered a cord of wood.

• A bicycle was reported stolen from a garage at 5:15 p.m. from the 1900 block of Sunland Drive.

• A mother reported at 6:40 p.m. she wanted her 11-year-old son arrested for being incorrigible. The child was taken to juvenile detention.

• A 17-year-old girl was detained at 7:22 p.m. at Walmart for shoplifting and her parents were called. Her parents arrived and asked that she be arrested and a deputy complied. The girl was taken to juvenile detention.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Report at 7:09 a.m. of a motorcycle stolen within the last three hours from the 1300 block of Fifth Street in Silver Springs.

• Storage unit burglary reported at 3:02 p.m. on Lois Lane in Fernley.

• Misdemeanor arrest at 6:51 p.m. on Flowery Avenue.
