The following health inspections are for the period of Jan. 25-31:

• Jackpot Crossing Casino First Floor Bar, 1897 N. Edmonds Dr., scored 94 points. There is no measurable chlorine sanitizer residual issuing during the final rinse of the dishwasher after numerous cycles. Surfaces inside the ice machine are not clean.

• Jackpot Crossing Beverage Center Bar, 1897 N. Edmonds Dr., scored 100 points.

• J & L Catering and Cakes Restaurant, 3850 Arrowhead Dr., scored 95 points. Both the freezer and reach-in refrigerator contained various foods stored without the proper organization, which requires ready-to-eat food separated and protected from possible contamination from meat products. There was no certified food handler present at the time of this inspection.

• Juan's Mexican Grill #2 Restaurant, 3680 Goni Road, scored 99 points. Several lamps in the kitchen did not have shielding.

• Slotworld Bar/Lounge The Pub, 3879 Highway 50 East, scored 100 points.

• Slotworld Bar/Lounge Sports Bar, 3879 Highway 50 East, scored 100 points.

• Gold Dust West Bowling Alley Bar, 2171 Highway 50 East, scored 100 points.

• Gold Dust West Sports Bar, 2171 Highway 50 East, scored 100 points.

• Titos Restaurant, 444 E. William St., scored 97 points. There was no certified food handler present at the time of this inspection.

• Sierra Joe's Restaurant, 444 E. William St. #6, scored 98 points. There was no cold holding thermometer in the prep table refrigerator. The cloths used on food-contact surfaces were found stored in buckets that did not contain detectable sanitizer residual.

• Jack In The Box Restaurant, 309 E. William St., scored 89 points. Found three gallon containers of cleaning chemical stored improperly around the dish washing area on working surfaces and without lids. Thermometers are missing in reach-in units, freezer by the fryer units and the front counter dessert reach-in. Repeat violation: The ice scoop is not being used to scoop ice into customer drink cups. Cups are being dragged through the ice bin to fill them. Boxes of food are stored on the floor in the freezer walk-in. Raw hamburger patties are not kept adequately covered. Prepared salads are left sitting out on the prep table 45 F while the staff person performs other duties with the labeler and sanitizer buckets. A cup is being used as a scoop in the rice container. The rice container has no lid. Repeat violation: No soap in the dispenser in the men's restroom. Repeat violation: Packaged foods are stored directly under the paper towel dispenser at the drive-through window. The nail brush storage container has no sanitizer solution in it.

• Local's Barbecue Company Co., 3849 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• Twisted Spoke Bar and Grill Bar/Lounge, 3198 N. Deer Run Road, scored 100 points.

• Twisted Spoke Bar and Grill Restaurant, 3198 N. Deer Run Road, scored 100 points.

• The Firkin & Fox Restaurant Bar, 310 S. Carson St. #100, scored 100 points.

• The Firkin & Fox Smoking Bar, 310 S. Carson St. #100, scored 100 points.

• B'Sghetti's Inc. Bar/Lounge, 318 N. Carson St., scored 95 points. The speed gun and holster need cleaning. There are no paper towels at the hand sink.

• Thurman's Ranch House Restaurant, 2943 Highway 50 East, scored 96 points. There is a broken light shield over the salad prep area in the kitchen. No certified food handler on duty.

• Casino Fandango Duke's Steak House Bar, 3800 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• Casino Fandango Duke's Steak House, 3800 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• Casino Fandango Amo Italian Restaurant, 3800 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.

• JM Gasoline Finx Hot Dogs, 1321 N. Carson St., scored 97 points. Hot dogs were found stored in containers that did not have labels showing the date and name. Hot dogs were found stored in the prep table refrigerator at 44 F and not at 40 F or less as required.

• Video Centro Mini Mart Takeout, 2765 Highway 50 East #A, scored 96 points. Prepared food was found stored in the walk-in cooler in containers that did not have labels showing the name and date. Food was found stored in the walk-in cooler with utensils without handles and with utensils with handles touching the food. The fan guards in the walk-in cooler contained accumulated dust. The gaskets on the cooler door are worn and must be repaired or replaced.

• ARCO AMPM Convenience Store, 4340 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.
