Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Jonathan Lee Cote, 39, of Carson City, was arrested at 11:18 p.m. Thursday in the 2100 block of Bourdeaux Drive on suspicion of gross misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, four counts of misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and a count of possession of a hypodermic needle. Bail was set at $8,160.

• Chesley Gerhardt Ludden, 22, unemployed of Dayton, was arrested at 7:22 p.m. Thursday on a felony warrant for probation violation. No bail was set.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Vehicle burglary report at 20 College Parkway at 9:21 a.m.

• Report of copper cable stolen from a piece of equipment at the Carson City Landfill at 1:54 p.m.

• Accident at 3:37 p.m. at North Carson and Washington streets.

• A man and a woman ran out of a North Carson Street auto parts store with a seat cover they hadn't paid for at 4:05 p.m.

• Report of a battery victim on East Musser Street with a laceration to the head at 10:31 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• A Fernley woman reported a man against whom she has a restraining order left her a Valentine's Day card in her truck at 12:22 a.m.

• Arrest on Black Rock Circle in Mound House at 8:02 a.m.

• Arrest on East Main Street in Fernley at 9:58 a.m.

• Two juveniles were cited for truancy at Fernley High School at 10:40 p.m.

• Report of copper stolen off a truck on Bowman Lane in Mason Valley at 10:05 a.m.

• Report of two students at Dayton Intermediate School in possession of drugs at 1:17 p.m.

• Arrest on Stagecoach Drive in Stagecoach at 2:04 p.m.

• Report of tools stolen from in front of a home on San Roma Drive in Dayton between 8 p.m. and 8:57 p.m.
