RENO, Nev. (AP) - Former state Treasurer Patty Cafferata says she'll seek the seat being vacated by state Sen. Bill Raggio.
A Reno newspaper reported Friday that former Reno City Councilwoman Toni Harsh also is applying for the post, but that Washoe County Commissioner John Breternitz has decided not to seek it.
Raggio cited health reasons when announcing his retirement Wednesday.
