Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Gilbert Lane Landis, 25, of Carson City, was arrested at 9:53 p.m. Wednesday in the 3700 block of Tuolumne Drive on suspicion of felony grand larceny, possession of stolen property and burglary. He was allegedly pilfering items from his girlfriend's mother's house and pawning them. Bail was set at $15,000.

• Christopher Nealson Coston, 28, of Carson City, was arrested at 12:30 a.m. Sunday at Sonoma Drive and Saliman Road on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine and failure to use a turn signal. Bail was set at $2,500.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• A mother reported at 9:45 a.m. that her 14-year-old daughter hadn't come home the previous evening. She also wasn't in school, the mother said. The girl was located at 11:05 a.m.

• Coroner call at 10:33 a.m. in the 1700 block of Snyder Avenue.

• Residential burglary report in the 2600 block of Merrit Drive. Jewelry was among items reported missing.

• A woman reported his brother cashed over $1,000 in fraudulent checks.

• Residential burglary report in which a window was broken, pictures smashed and food thrown around at a home at the Comstock Mobile Home Park.

• Coroner call in the 3200 block of Airport Road at 8:02 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Report of students with drugs on them at Fernley High School. A misdemeanor arrest was made.

• A store employee reported at 8:22 p.m. that he detained four juveniles for attempting to steal alcohol from Smith's in Dayton.

Storey County

The following is one of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• A woman reported during a child transfer that her ex pushed her and elbowed her in the face at 9:58 a.m.
