Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 63-year-old substitute teacher in Douglas County was arrested at 12:58 p.m. Wednesday at Snyder and Bigelow avenues on suspicion of drunken driving. She allegedly blew a .23 on a preliminary breath test. Bail was set at $1,132.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• A woman reported another woman against whom she'd filed a restraining order was sending her messages on Facebook.

• Vehicle burglary report on Sandstone Drive at 7:30 a.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• A Dayton woman reported at 9:07 a.m. finding a Social Security card and change in a new wallet she bought from Burlington Coat Factory.

• Felony arrest on Highway 339 in Mason Valley at 6:50 p.m.

• Report at 7:08 p.m. of two juveniles showing up at Silverland Middle School in Fernley smelling of alcohol.
