Mark Turnage, Jr. was the son of Karie and Mark Turnage. Among Mark's many survivors are his mother, stepfather, sister, Val Holst and grandparents, too many aunts, uncles, cousins on both coasts to list and his puppy Tera. Mark was preceded in death by his brother and best friend Aaron on May 15, 2009, and his father on Dec. 8, 2000.
Even going through years of kidney dialysis and the loss of his brother, Mark was the pillar of strength for his family. Mark kept his spirits up and was a fighter to the end. After spending 68 days at Valley Medical Center hospital/ICU, Mark finally succumbed to complications surrounding severe pancreatitis with his family by his side. The value of having a patient advocate should never be underestimated.
Mark previously resided in Nevada and Florida and touched many lives.
