Alice Jeannine Walker, 46, of Carson City, was born Oct. 26, 1964, in Las Vegas and passed away Jan. 26, 2011, in Carson City. Alice enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family. She always enjoyed taking the opportunity to tan in the summer, visit the beach, help others, and spend time with her loved ones. Even though we can no longer physically see her, she is with us everyday, in our hearts, in our memories, and most importantly in Heaven with her dad, Robert Brown. "I'll watch out for us now, mom. Thank you for everything," Taryl. "You're in our hearts, our memories, and our prayers. We love you!" Devan. "It's not goodbye, it's see you later," Megan. "The happy times you had seen in the past will be seen in Heaven with grandpa," Nichole. She is survived by her children, Taryl Walker of Carson City, Devan Walker of Reno, Megan Walker of Carson City, and Nichole Bascus of Carson City; adopted mother Doretta Brown of Reno; father Robert Bussey; mother Francis Barber; brothers Loren Brown of Eugene, Ore., Todd Bussey of Fife, Wash., and Kenneth Bussey of Auburn, Wash.; sister Alicia Renggli of Tacoma, Wash.; and grandchildren, Serena and Accalia. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church in Carson City. Arrangements entrusted to Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Carson City.
