Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Daryl Jacinto Reyes, 29, a tattooist from Carson City, was arrested at 8 p.m. Monday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony use of false identification to avoid prosecution and misdemeanor obstructing. Reyes was arrested on a traffic warrant earlier in the day and was in the process of being released when deputies discovered he'd allegedly given officers his brother's name to avoid a probation violation charge out of Oregon. Bail was set at $25,000.

• Donald Pluff, 17, was booked into the Carson City Jail at 4:58 p.m. Monday on suspicion of felony adult probation violation and a new charge of possession of stolen property. He allegedly burglarized his neighbor's shed and vehicles. Pluff is being held without bail.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Report at 2:52 a.m. of a back porch on fire in the 1600 block of Myles Way. Possibly started by a fire pit.

• Carson City Sheriff's K9 Teddy found heroin and marijuana in a vehicle in the 3900 block of South Carson Street at 8:34 p.m. A juvenile was arrested.

• Report of a cell phone stolen from a vehicle in the 300 block of North Carson Street at 9:51 a.m.

• Report of a woman seen climbing in a window in the 4200 block of Hidden Meadows Drive at 12:21 p.m. Turns out the woman lives there and has a habit of locking herself out.

• Report at 8:07 p.m. of a woman bit in the face by a dog in the 1800 block of North Stewart Street.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Report of tires slashed on a vehicle in the 1900 block of Six Iron Court in Fernley.

• Report of a "heifer running loose" at 6:53 a.m., 25 feet from Highway 50 East in Silver Springs.

• Graffiti report on Sutro Elementary School at 6:56 a.m.

• Report at 7:10 a.m. of a black cow with a white face walking along Highway 50 in Silver Springs.

• Coroner call on Beverly Court in Fernley at 12:46 p.m..

• Coroner call in the 100 block of Wagon Wheel Way in Mark Twain at 4:18 p.m.
