The Silver Springs man accused of killing his girlfriend and then shooting himself was taken off life support today.
The family of Leland Scott Lawson said his organs were donated to seven people. Lawson, 33, has died.
He shot and killed Tia Shine, 31, at Shine's Silver Springs home Monday afternoon, then called authorities before turning the gun on himself.
Lawson has been on life support at Renown Regional Medical Center since Monday.
