The Extreme Motor Officer Training Challenge starts today at 8 a.m. at Mills Park. Officers from the region will compete in a series of courses - speed, obstacle, slow ride, Last Man Standing and a team event. There also will be food and equipment vendors. Awards will be given to the best riders. The event is a training exercise and participating officers earn points toward their annual certification. Money raised from the entrance fees will be donated to a local charity.
