Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• William Nicholas Chomes III, 50, a machinist, was arrested at 1:43 a.m. Friday at Highway 50 East and Flint Drive on suspicion of possession of a dangerous weapon. He was also allegedly found in possession of leopard-print panties and an identification card belonging to a woman who said he didn't have permission to have them. Bail was set at $2,500.

• Cody Allen Thompson, 19, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in the 400 block of Gardengate Way on suspicion of possession of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was reported stolen out of San Jose. Bail was set at $25,000.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Misdemeanor arrest in Silver Springs at 8:18 a.m.

• Report at 1:23 p.m. of Fernley Walmart employee stealing money from the register.

• A Mason Valley grandmother reported at 1:36 p.m. that her 14-year-old grandson whom she has custody of called her and told her was on his way to Carson and "good luck finding him."

• A 14-year-old girl was bit by a dog in Mark Twain at 9:27 p.m.

• Coroner call on Highway 50 Alternate in Fernley following a 9:43 p.m. accident.
