Jelly Bread brings its magic mixture of roots, rock, reggae, gospel, blues and funk to for Fridays After Dark at Plan:b Micro-Lounge at 8 p.m. Friday, March 4.

The ensemble is made up of Dave Berry, Brady Carthen on bass, Kevin Stewart on keys, & Justin Kruger sitting in on drums

As the band's bio describes them, "Jelly Bread is the combination of a pumping rhythm section that grew up together playing in a gospel band, an award-winning singer/songwriter who approaches music from a Ben Harper/John Butler point of view, rootsy funk/rock guitar licks with a bit of dirt the nails, and three part male-female vocal harmonies that add textures as rough as sandpaper, and as soft as velvet."

Plan:b is located at 318 N. Carson St. For reservations, call 775-887-8879.
