Location scouts for the Dakota Fanning movie being filmed in Northern Nevada are looking at a Carson Street motel as a possible shooting location.

Back on Track Inn manager George Vincent said he was contacted by people working on "The Motel Life," a feature-length film starring Dakota Fanning and Emile Hirsche about two brothers who flee a Reno motel after a fatal hit and run accident.

The crew was in Gardnerville and Genoa on Tuesday shooting footage for the movie.

Vincent said it's not confirmed that Back on Track, at the corner of Washington and Carson Streets, will be used as a set, but they welcome the opportunity.

Facebook has been abuzz in recent days with Dakota Fanning sightings all over town. Users have posted status updates that Fanning was spotted at the Carson City Applebees, CVS Pharmacy on Winnie Lane and the Target and Walmart on Topsy Lane.
