Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Brett Jones, 31, a carpenter from Carson City, was arrested at 6:22 p.m. Monday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony failure to appear in drug court. No bail was set.

• Chris Thayer, 23, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 9:50 p.m. Monday in the 3200 block of Market Street on suspicion of felony possession of stolen property. Bail was set at $25,000.

• John Gelien, 25, a handyman from Carson City, was arrested at 10:32 p.m. Monday in the 1000 block of South Carson Street on a warrant for suspicion of felony grand larceny and misdemeanor violation of bail conditions. Bail was set at $5,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Vehicle burglary report on Sandalwood Drive at 7:54 a.m.

• Report of a vehicle versus a bicycle at East Fifth Street and Saliman Road at 7:55 a.m.

• Attempted burglary at Senior Thrift Store in the 900 block of Beverly Drive sometime before 9:48 a.m.

• Report of cash and credit cards taken from a daycare center on Curry Street sometime over the weekend.

• Accident at William and Roop streets at 5:08 p.m.

• A white, four-door, 1998 Pontiac Sunfire with damage on the left side and Nevada license plate 596WPU was reported stolen from the parking lot of the emergency room sometime between 1 p.m. and 5:14 p.m. The keys were left inside the vehicle.

• Report of "drug activity" in a motel room in the 1000 block of South Carson Street. An arrest was made at 10:32 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Report at 12:14 p.m. of someone trying to pass a counterfeit $20 bill at a Silver Springs market.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Townsend Street in Stagecoach at 7:10 p.m.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Report at 4:03 p.m. of a dead colt on Cartwright Road.
