Celebration of Heroes, Parade

Drive up to beautiful Virginia City this Memorial Day weekend for an event that is all about thanking the many veterans in attendance who have fought for our freedom.

May 27-30 Virginia City is giving a tribute to veterans during the annual Celebration of Heroes Memorial Day car show, a parade on Saturday and a surplus of other Memorial Day weekend activities.

The Battle Born Showdown car show is staged along E Street by the Ramada Virginia City along with vendor booths, food and fun for the entire family all day and evening. Come out and cheer let our local heroes to let them know we are thankful for their many acts of bravery.

WE CAN swim for diabetes

This is very important to me. My grandmother had diabetes and her favorite activity was the swimming in the pool because it took away all the limitation from other activities.

Come join the Carson City Aquatic Facility and WE CAN (Way's to Enhance Children's Activity and Nutrition) to raise money for diabetes causes. Bring the entire family out to swim or just come on down and support the cause and mingle with friends. There will be refreshments, a fun raffle and giveaways.
