Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Joseph Kenneth Carter, 26, of Sparks, was arrested at 6:56 p.m. Sunday at Fairview and Edmonds drives on suspicion of felony parole violation. No bail was set.

• Ashley Elwonda Hubbard, 23, of Carson City, was arrested at 6:56 p.m. Sunday in the 1800 block of North Edmonds Drive on a warrant for suspicion of felony check fraud and a new charge of felony check fraud. She was allegedly trying to pass a forged check at an area casino. Bail was set at $9,000.

• Ryan Daniel Romero, 28, of Carson City, was arrested at 6:56 p.m. Sunday at Edmonds and Fairview Drives on suspicion of felony possession of cocaine for sales, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and driving on revoked license.

• A man who allegedly had three forms of identification with three different names on him was arrested at 4:49 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of North Stewart Street on suspicion of felony drug trafficking, violation of the controlled substance act and possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. In addition to the drugs allegedly found on him, the man also had "the head of a dead chicken" in his front pants pocket, the report states.

• A 33-year-old housewife was arrested at 8:42 a.m. Sunday in the 1600 block of Fall Street on suspicion of domestic battery. She allegedly slapped her husband in the face and spit on him for repeatedly looking at pornography on his phone. Bail was set at $3,132.

• Myles Robert Burdett, 20, of Carson City, was arrested at 9:10 p.m. Saturday in the 1200 block of Woodside Drive on a felony warrant for suspicion of possession of a stolen firearm. Bail was set at $10,000.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

• Felony arrest in the 10000 block of Highway 50 East in Mound House at 12:55 a.m.

• Report of a man choking a brothel worker on Moonlight Road in Mound House at 2:57 a.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Silver Lace Boulevard in Fernley at 9:18 a.m.

• Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 50 in Dayton at 5:04 p.m.
