Obituary: Curtis Lee Coman

Curtis Lee Coman passed away peacefully at his home in Carson City, Nevada August 31, 2011. He was 73. He was born October 26, 1937 in Los Angeles, CA. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1955 and retired as a Senior Chief in 1978. He worked for Nevada Division of Forestry as a firefighter and retired in 1999. He loved to read, was an avid hunter and a devoted Harley rider. One of his many mottos was "there is only one original". He was preceded in death by his father, Fred LeGrand Coman and his mother, Delma Christiansen.

He is survived by sister, Anne Jones (Fred). His three sons, Sam, Pete (Shelli) and Lee (Connie) Also ex-wife Mauricette Coman and numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

There will be no service. A memorial ride in his honor is being planned for a later date. Please contact Sam Coman at samuelcoman@yahoo.com for details.
