The party is always in Carson City. So goes the Harley-Davidson slogan for the host of events sponsored by the dealership each year.

As Street Vibrations rumbles into Reno, the fun begins at 11 a.m. today in Carson City with music and 40 vendors offering everything from clothing to accessories at the store on Research Way.

"In conjunction with Street Vibrations, we're throwing a five-acre party here in Carson City," said Maya Keller, who is organizing the event. "We're calling it 'Breakin' Out of the Cage.'"

Music starts at 11 a.m. all weekend and the party doesn't end until 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

There will be eight bands, food and beverages, and demonstrations will be offered all day Friday and Saturday, including big draws Jason Pullen, who will perform stunts at 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., and Live Fast Motocross with freestyle demonstrations at noon, 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Another popular aspect of the annual event will be fireworks which will begin at 8 p.m. both Friday and Saturday nights.

The dealership is located at 2900 Research Way. For more information, call 882-7433.
