Design Workshop, an international landscape architecture, land planning, and urban design firm with six offices in the U.S., has promoted Stephanie Grigsby to principal and Micah Langdon to associate in its Lake Tahoe office.
Grigsby, who joined the Design Workshop team in 2000, began in the Lake Tahoe office as a landscape architect and has worked on many notable projects including the South Tahoe Greenway, the Village at Northstar, the LDS Sacramento Temple and the Nevada Department of Transportation's Landscape and Aesthetics Corridor plan.
Micah Langdon, now an associate, began his career at Design Workshop's Lake Tahoe office in 2003 and specializes in transportation projects through his involvement in Department of Transportation developments in southern Nevada, as well as streetscape, resort and residential projects.
"Stephanie Grigsby consistently proves able to synthesize a broad range of information and develop an approach and solution that can be easily understood and implemented while also achieving innovative results - qualities that will be invaluable in leading this office," said Steve Noll, principal of Design Workshop's Tahoe office. "Micah Langdon uses his design talents to transform concepts into beautiful, context-sensitive built environments. ... I look forward to Micah taking the lead on many more projects while mentoring younger staff," Noll said.
