Greenhouse garden center's October seminars and workshops offer a variety of fall tips and projects. Seminars are free. Workshops require reservations and some fees may apply.

• Create A Fall Container workshop with Myrna Gielow at 1 p.m. today and Sunday. Reservations required as well as pot and plants fee.
• Identifying and Preventing Bark Beetles seminar, 1 p.m. today. Hosted by University of Nevada Cooperative Extension.
• Trees For Fall Color seminar, 10 a.m. Oct. 8.
• Create A Harvest Wreath workshop with Myrna Gielow, 1 p.m. Oct. 8 and Oct. 9. Reservations required, and $25 materials fee
• Winterizing Your Pond seminar, 10 a.m. Oct. 15.
• Preparing Your Yard For Winter seminar, 10 a.m. Oct. 22.

Used plant pots can be recycled on Sundays only through October. Those bringing in pots can enter a drawing for prizes. Ask any employee for details.
