It is said Adolph Sutro will soon erect a large hotel and bathing house on his Cliff House property (in San Francisco). He will spare no expense to make it one of the most attractive places in the Union.

The second flood of water washed through Mazuma yesterday. A body of water ten feet high rolled down through the canyon, and swept away anything before it. No additional deaths were reported, but damage was done to the remaining buildings in the town.

Reno District Judge B.F. Curler, 76, weds Lillian Sharp, over 21, of Carmel, Calif. Archie Bruce Pozzi, son born to Mr. and Mrs. Archie Pozzi Jr., on June 18, was brought home from a Reno hospital. The child is doing fine.

Paul Laxalt, Republican candidate for Lieutenant Governor, said today he hopes candidates for the GOP gubernatorial primary will "campaign on issues and leave personalities out of it." The comments were made following a vicious verbal exchange between Laxalt and H.M. Greenspun of Las Vegas.
