What is the history of your business?

We turned a life-long hobby into a business. We made a workshop in our garage and opened in 2001.

What do you sell?

In addition to repair and restoration, we sell lamp parts, shades and homemade lamps.

What strategy do you use to hire good people?

We are self-employed.

What is the best thing about running a business here?

Working closely with the people from Carson City and surrounding areas.

Anything else you would like to add?

It's good to have a business after retirement. It keeps us busy in our home workshop and still involved with the people of our community. Norman is a World War II veteran and will be 90 in May. He is so pleased to be still working.
