Two bodies found in Carson River

The Carson City Sheriff's office is currently working a scene where two bodies were found shortly before 2 p.m. today along the Carson River.

Sheriff's officials say the body of a male and female were found in less than knee deep water near Lloyd's Bridge.

Officials are investigating the cause of death, but have said the bodies were in the water for "quiet some time."

Officials said there were no signs of wounds or physical violence on the bodies. The bodies will be processed by the Washoe County coroner.

No other information is known at this time.
