Obituary: Michael D. Cronin

Mike was born in Vancouver, Wash., to Michael and Pearl Cronin. He is also preceded in death by his older brother, Robert "Bob" Cronin. Mike lived and work most of his life in the San Francisco Bay Area. He was in the Navy and served in WWII. He is a 65-year Lifetime Member of Seamfitters Local 342. After being discharged from the service, he came to Oakland and met the love of his life, Betty. They were married 64 years and had two sons, Barry (wife Barbara) and Michael. Mike is also survived by four grandchildren, Douglas, Kimberly, Patrick and Michelle; and three great-granddaughters. He will be greatly missed by his "favorite" son, the famous Duffy. At Mike's request, there will be no services.
