Carson City Host Lions Club is sponsoring a free fishing day for children from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at Baily Pond in Fuji Park.
There will be free T-shirts, raffle prizes and an archery range. Lion's Club members will be on hand to help with fishing and manage a fish cleaning station. The Carson Capitals will have a concession stand on site with food and drinks available.
Children over 12 years will need a NDOW fishing license. For more information, call 775-887-5652.
