Proscenium Players announce auditions for Christmas show

Proscenium Players, Inc. plans to hold auditions for the production of "A Christmas Chaos" on Sunday and again on the evening of Sept. 19.

Sunday's audition is set for 5:30 p.m. at the Silver State Charter School Performing Arts Center, 900 Mallory Way. The Sept. 19 auditions will be at 7:30 p.m. in the same location.

"A Christmas Chaos" is billed as a romp about everything that can go wrong behind the curtain of a community theater production.

A flexible cast of 16 will be sought. It includes four adult males, four adult females, a male youth, a female youth and six roles of either gender. Those auditioning will be asked to read from the play's script.

Performance dates are slated Nov. 30 and Dec. 1, 2, 7, 8 and 9 at the Brewery Arts Center.
