Joan M. Hanna, 58, passed away April 4, 2013 in Carson City, NV. Joan was born October 30, 1954 in Carson City, NV, to Richard and Mary Kathleen Hanna. For the past thirty years she has resided in Virginia City, NV.
Joan will be missed by her son, Stephen Brown from Chico, CA; and her daughter, Sarah Hambek from Hawaii and four grandchildren. She also leaves behind four brothers, Tom Hanna of Carson City, NV, Owen Hanna of Redding, CA, Kevin Hanna of Prescott, AZ and Lee Haggland of Auburn, WA; and a sister, Laurie Marchessault of New Haven, CT. Finally, her long-time companion, Mike Long from Virginia City, NV. Joan was a gentle soul who enjoyed gardening, arts and crafts, and dearly loved her family.
Joan will be laid to rest in Carson City, NV.
Walton’s Chapel of the Valley is in charge of final arrangements.
