Humorist to perform for Cowboy Festival

Cowboy humorist Baxter Black will appear at 7 p.m. May 2 in the Valley Ballroom at the Carson Valley Inn as a kickoff to the 2013 Genoa Cowboy Festival.

Black is a cowboy poet, humorist, former large-animal veterinarian and entertainer.

In keeping with the Cowboy Festival theme, Sourdough Slim will perform with Robert Armstrong in the Carson Valley Inn Cabaret Lounge after Black’s show.
