March 27, 1948 - July 31, 2013

Craig “Red” Slaugh, age 65, passed away peacefully in his home in Fallon, Nevada on Wednesday, July 31, 2013.

Craig was born and raised in Vernal, Utah to Opal and Clayton Slaugh. Craig moved to Fallon in 1987 and worked for Evans Drywall. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Craig loved to play games, was an avid rock collector and was a hard worker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Opal H. Slaugh and Clayton J. Slaugh. Craig is survived by his wife, Diane; his son, Travis; daughter in law, Kim; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 from 7-9 pm at Smith Family Funeral Home, 505 Rio Vista Dr. in Fallon. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 8th at 11 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 450 N. Taylor St. in Fallon. Viewing will precede services at 10 am at the Church. Interment will follow at the Churchill County Public Cemetery.
