Carson City Sheriff’s Log: Transient arrested on fugitive-from-justice warrant

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

SUNDAY

• 4:45 p.m.: A 36-year-old Carson City man was arrested at the Carson City Jail on a contempt-of-court warrant. Bail was set at $500. Also arrested was a 21-year-old Markleeville, Calif., woman on a violation-of-a-suspended-sentence warrant. Bail was set at $3,000.

SATURDAY

• 9 a.m.: A 37-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic battery with strangulation, child neglect/endangering and ex-felon failure to register, as well as on a failure-to-comply warrant. Bail was set at $15,000. Also arrested was a 34-year-old Carson City woman, on suspicion of child neglect/endangering. Bail was set at $2,500.

• 7:07 p.m.: A transient was arrested at Colorado and Carson streets on suspicion of violation of bail conditions, suspended registration, no insurance and no valid driver’s license. Bail was set at $3,750.

• 9:05 p.m.: A 35-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 1400 block of North Carson Street on a violation-of-a-suspended-sentence warrant, as well as on suspicion of arrest of probationer. Bail was set at $6,000.

• 1:28 a.m.: Tuan Van Do, 48, a transient from California, was arrested in the 1100 block of East William Street on a fugitive-from-justice warrant out of Santa Clara Superior Court. No bail was set.

• 8:10 a.m.: A 31-year-old Bishop, Calif., woman was arrested in the 1100 block of North Saliman Street on an insufficient-funds warrant out of Sparks Township. Bail was set at $1,400.

• 4:35 a.m.: A 29-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 300 block of South Carson Meadows Drive on suspicion of obstructing. Bail was set at $300.

• 1:17 a.m.: A 30-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 1600 block of Medical Parkway on suspicion of domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,000.

FRIDAY

• 9:11 p.m.: A 43-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 2700 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of domestic battery, as well as on a violation-of-a-suspended-sentence warrant. Bail was set at $6,000.

• 8:30 p.m.: A 21-year-old transient was arrested at Stanford Drive and Deyasota on a probation-violation warrant. No bail was set.

• 6:20 p.m.: A 32-year-old Carson City woman was arrested in the 1000 block of South Roop Street on suspicion of domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,000.

• 3 p.m.: A 20-year-old Carson City man was arrested at the Carson City Jail on a failure-to-appear warrant. Bail was set at $2,500.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies, violent crimes and DUIs.
