Comstock Mining execs ring in NYSE

VIRGINIA CITY (AP) — Executives for Nevada-based Comstock Mining rang the opening bell Tuesday morning at the New York Stock Exchange in celebration of their company’s one-year anniversary.

Comstock Mining Chairman John Winfield and President and CEO Corrado De Gasperis opened the session at 9:30 a.m. EDT.

The company’s gold and silver mine, the Lucerne Pit, is at Gold Hill.
