U.S. Rep. Mark Amodei will address Carson City residents at 8 a.m. Thursday at the Silver Oak Executive Conference Center.

During his vacation break from Congress, Amodei, R-Carson City, has been updating constituents about what is happening in Washington, D.C.

A representative from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce will present Amodei with a Spirit of Enterprise Award, given to those who vote for pro-business legislation supported by the U.S. Chamber. Amodei shows a 93 percent pro-business voting record.

The event is sponsored by the Carson City Chamber of Commerce and is open to all interested voters.
