Two killed in plane crash at Stagecoach

Two people were killed in a plane crash Friday at Misfits Flats in Stagecoach, according to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office.

The crash was discovered about 3:25 p.m., and the cause is unknown. Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Ian Gregor told the Associated Press that the single engine plane went down late Thursday or early Friday. Lyon County authorities say two people aboard the plane were found dead. Their names are being withheld until relatives are notified.
