Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

FRIDAY

• 4:33 a.m.: A 28-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 1100 block of East William Street on a Carson probation-violation warrant. Bail: $3,000.

• 6:08 a.m.: A 28-year-old Carson City woman was arrested in the 2400 block of North Lompa Lane on a Lyon County warrant. No bail.

• 7:37 p.m.: A 43-year-old Homewood, Calif., man was arrested at North Carson Street and Silver Oak Drive on a Douglas County failure-to-appear warrant. Bail: $472.

• 9:10 p.m.: Rene Garcia, 21, of Carson City was arrested in the 2200 block of East Long Street on a Carson probation-violation warrant. No bail.

SATURDAY

• 1:34 a.m.: Joseph Scurti, 24, of Dayton and Shelby Marshall, 20, were arrested in the 400 block of North Carson Street. Scurti was arrested on a charge of a probation violation with no-bail hold. Marshall was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of a hypodermic device, possession of drug paraphernalia and a minor loitering in a gaming establishment with bail set at $4,324.

• 2:02 a.m.: Kelly Hopkins, 32, of Dayton was arrested at Telegraph and Curry streets on charges of DUI, wrong way on a one-way highway and driving on a suspended registration. Bail: $1,346.

• 2:42 a.m.: Nathaniel Allen, 27, of Carson City was arrested in the 800 block of College Parkway on a charge of DUI third offense. Bail: $20,000.

• 11:00 a.m.: Leonard Weniz, 54, was arrested in the 3200 block of Market Street on Carson sex-offender-failure-to-change-address warrant and on a charge of possession of a hypodermic needle. Bail: $11,137.

• 1:45 p.m.: A 24-year-old Bloomington, Ill. man was arrested on two Reno failure-to-appear traffic warrants. Bail: $2,520.

• 5:40 p.m.: A 33-year-old Dayton man was arrested in the 1800 block of East Long Street on a Dayton warrant. Bail: $2,500.

• 6:55 p.m.: Robert Leiter, 56, of Carson City was arrested in the 3800 block of U.S. Highway 50 East on a Lyon County failure-to-appear warrant and on a charge of a parole violation. No bail.

SUNDAY

• 12:01 a.m.: A 20-year-old Moundhouse woman was arrested at the Carson City Jail after turning herself in on a Carson violation-of-conditions warrant. Bail: $3,000.

• 12:24 a.m.: A 30-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 3800 block of South Carson Street on a failure-to-appear warrant and a Fallon contempt-of-court warrant. Bail: $1,547.

• 3:00 a.m.: David Giovacchini, 53, of Carson City was arrested at Stewart and Carson streets on charges of DUI second offense, following too closely and failure to maintain a travel lane. Bail: $2,634.

• 4:54 p.m.: Joseph Sorenson, 30, of Carson City was arrested in the 700 block of Rolando Way on a charge of battery domestic violence. Bail: $3,137.

SATURDAY

• Matthew Erin Delongchamp, 39, of Carson City was arrested in the Lockwood area on a charge of DUI. Bail: $1,137.

• Kevin Edwin Gaither, 46, of Sparks turned himself in on charges of domestic battery, robbery and burglary. Bail: $68,000.
