Sock, glove, and backpack drive Sunday

A Warm Hearts Warm Hands sock, glove, and backpack drive will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Family, 1201 N. Saliman Road, behind Carson High School.Help homeless men and women stay warm this winter by donating new adult-sized men’s and women’s socks and gloves. You also can help homeless children have a place to store their belongings by donating new and gently used backpacks and duffel bags.The event is sponsored by Friends in Service Helping, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church and St. Lutheran Family. The donated items will be distributed through local service organizations such as FISH and Austin’s House.
