Barbara Hardman Merrill of Carson City, Nev. passed away on Jan. 19, 2013 at her residence. She was born July 28, 1924 in Wellsville, Utah to Joseph Floyd and Sarah Ann Stuart Hardman. She was raised in Mendon, Utah. Barbara was an elementary school teacher and had resided in Carson City for over 45 years. She was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Her parents; sister, Ann; brothers, Stuart, Neff, Joe; and husband, Dean Gordon Merrill all preceded her in death. She is survived by brother, Heber Hardman.
She is survived by her children, Deanna (Dr. Robert) Foote of Tucson, Ariz., Stuart Merrill of Carson City, Nev., Mauria (Ronald) Leydsman of Provo, Utah, Tarali (Michael) Ludlow and Cynde (Wesley) Craig all of Fallon, Nev., Paula Jo (Mario) Hegewald of Dallas, Texas, Kelli (Donald) Asp of Carson City, Nev.; 30 grandchildren and more than 50 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 26, at 2 p.m. at the LDS Stake Center at 411 N. Saliman Rd. in Carson City. Interment will be Saturday Feb. 2nd at the Preston cemetery in Preston, Idaho.
