UPDATE: At 12:30 p.m. Friday the Amber Alert was canceled as the missing girl was found. No other information was available.
The Fallon Police Department and the Nevada Highway Patrol have issued a statewide Amber Alert in Nevada for a Fallon woman and her 5-year-old daughter.
Investigators say Rebecca Marie Smart has a history of mental problems and may not be taking her medications.
On Thursday, she took her daughter Rachel Rose Smart and left Fallon, telling friends that the end of the world was near and they were going to New York state so her daughter could “meet Jehovah”.
Rebecca Smart is believed to be driving a tan 1988 Ford Thunderbird, Nevada license 284 YCS.
Rebecca is described as white female adult, 5-feet 4-inches, weighing 129 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
Rachel Rose is described as white female juvenile.
