Watch Dads of Great Students, or Watch D.O.G.S., volunteers barbecued hot dogs at Fritsch Elementary School as part of the field day to celebrate the end of the school year.
More than 50 dads and grandfathers joined and spent more than 30 full days at the school, according to a news release.
The national program is aimed at encouraging fathers and father figures to be more involved in schools.
Volunteers spend an entire day at the school, helping in classrooms and during lunch break and recesses.
