Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent unless proved guilty in court:
FRIDAY
• 12:01 a.m.: Lauffette Kimmins Jr., 30, of Carson City was arrested in the 1400 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance (pills without a prescription), possession of a dangerous drug, DUI-first offense and basic speeding. Bail was set at $6,065.
THURSDAY
• 9:50 a.m.: A Carson City woman was arrested in the 100 block of East Park Street on a criminal-contempt warrant. Bail was set at $250.
• 1:30 p.m.: A 19-year-old Carson City woman was arrested in the 1800 block of North Edmonds Street on a criminal-contempt warrant, as well as on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $1,500.
The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies, violent crimes and DUIs. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of people committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
