Alma Faye Hyatt passed away June 21, 2013 in Fallon. She was born April 12, 1930 in Sparks, Nevada to William A. and Lena M. Duckworth Smith. Alma co-owned and operated the Overland Bar in Carlin for many years with her husband Jack Hyatt. He preceded her in death in 1999. She was also preceded in death by her son Will-B 2 grandchildren and her brothers.
She is survived by her son John W. Hyatt, Jr. of Nampa, Idaho; daughter Laurie Armstrong of St. Clairsville, Ohio; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Per her request no services are scheduled. Inurnment will be at Burns Memorial Gardens in Elko. Arrangements are under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Home-Fallon.
