3 applicants sought for Carson City library board

Carson City’s Board of Supervisors seeks applicants who would like to fill three open positions on the city’s library board of trustees.

The volunteer library board oversees all library policies and budgets.

Applicants must be willing to serve six to eight hours monthly.

There is one slot open for a term expiring in June 2015.

Two spots are for people willing to serve until June 2017.

Applications will be accepted until May 27.

Interviews are tentatively set for June 20 at a supervisors meeting.

City government policies and procedures on boards, committees and commissions may be viewed at www.carson.org/volunteer.

All submitted applications are considered public information.

Applications may be obtained at from and returned to the executive offices in City Hall at 201 N. Carson St.
