AAA will honor local rescue and emergency personnel during a party from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday at its Carson City location, 2901 S. Carson St.
The Carson City Sheriff’s Department is expected to bring its K9 unit and the fire department will bring an engine to display.
United Blood Services will set up its unit for blood donation, with raffle prices and a barbecue for presenting donors.
The Reno Aces’ mascot Archie also will be in attendance.
