Carson City Senior Citizens Center, 911 Beverly Drive:

MONDAY: Chicken cacciatore, linguine, peas and onions and peaches.

TUESDAY: Clam chowder, sourdough bread, margarine, apple sauce and carrot raisin salad.

WEDNESDAY: Chili dogs with onions and cheese, mixed vegetables, corn bread and cranberry juice.

THURSDAY: Chile relleno, Spanish rice, corn, blushed peas and churros.

FRIDAY: Roast turkey, yams and apples, green beans, apricots and tapioca pudding.


Dayton Senior Center, 320 Old Dayton Valley Road:

MONDAY: Minestrone soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, tomato and romaine salad with French dressing and fresh kiwi.

TUESDAY: Turkey pot pies, mixed green salad, creamy Italian dressing, grain bread, peach jam and baked apples.

WEDNESDAY: Hamburger steak with brown gravy, cauliflower, Tater Tots, whole wheat bread with margarine and mixed fruit.

THURSDAY: Pork roast, gravy, glazed carrots, stuffing, whole wheat bread with margarine and applesauce.

FRIDAY: French toast with margarine and syrup, bacon, eggs, bananas, V8 and orange juice.


Douglas County Senior Center, 2300 Meadow Lane:

MONDAY: Italian stuffed chicken, panzanella salad, deviled Brussels sprouts and grape and caramel parfaits.

TUESDAY: Turkey and Brie melts with fresh cranberry sauce, blushing fruit salad, glazed vegetables and pumpkin flan.

WEDNESDAY: Pork chops with apples, salad, cornbread stuffing, peas and pearl onions, dinner rolls, cake and ice cream.

THURSDAY: Fried chicken salad with buttermilk ranch dressing, bread sticks and fresh melon.

FRIDAY: Baked Cajun cod, creamy corn, parsley butter potatoes, fresh spinach, grain bread and apple spice cake.


Silver Springs Senior Center, 1050 Pyramid Ave.:

MONDAY: Sloppy Joes, peas and carrots, celery sticks and apple crisp.

TUESDAY: Reuben sandwiches on rye bread, thousand island dressing, sauerkraut, macaroni salad and pears.

WEDNESDAY: Meat loaf, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, whole wheat bread, margarine and peaches.

THURSDAY: Chicken cacciatore, glazed carrots, cucumbers in sour cream, whole what rolls, margarine, orange rice pudding.

FRIDAY BREAKFAST 9:30: Chicken fried steak with gravy, scrambled eggs, hash browns, melon, V8 and orange juice.


Storey County Senior Citizens Center, corner of E and Mill streets in Virginia City:

MONDAY: Shepherd’s pie, spinach, bread and fruit.

TUESDAY: Reuben sandwiches, Tater Tots, salad and fruit.

WEDNESDAY: Southwest penne and cheese with chicken, zucchini salad and cheesy bread.

THURSDAY: Roast beef, red potatoes, vegetables, salad, peaches and ginger bread.

FRIDAY BREAKFAST 10 A.M.: Breakfast sandwich, cottage cheese and fruit.
