Sheriff’s Log: Woman arrested for alleged battery on law enforcement

Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent unless proved guilty in court:

WEDNESDAY

4:23 p.m.: A 42-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 100 block of Broadleaf Lane on suspicion of disorderly conduct and obstructing/resisting an officer. Bail was set at $450.

3:50 a.m.: A 40-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 400 block of East William Street on a failure-to-pay-fines warrant. Bail was set at $2,202.

TUESDAY

9:03 p.m.: Brice Fuller, 31, of Carson City was arrested in the 3000 block of East Fifth Street on suspicion of DUI-first offense, obstructing/resisting with violence and hit-and-run with property damage. After being pulled over, Fuller suddenly accelerated in reverse and crashed into a chain-link fence, according to his arrest report. He then reportedly walked briskly away from his car and punched a K9 that was deployed to detain him. Bail was $1,750.

8:02 p.m.: A 49-year-old Carson City man was arrested at Viking and Sherman ways on suspicion of domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,000.

8:30 a.m.: A 25-year-old Carson City woman was arrested in the 3000 block of Debbie Way on suspicion of domestic battery. Bail was set at $3,000.

5 p.m.: Capri Johnson, 26, of Sun Valley was arrested in the 1700 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony battery on a peace officer and child neglect. She reportedly spit at and tried to bite a firefighter, then scratched the arresting deputy. Total bail was $32,500.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies, violent crimes and DUIs. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of people committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
