1952 - 2013

William Louis “Bill” Drexler 60, formerly of Holden, Massachusetts, passed away suddenly at his home in Dayton, NV, on September 23, 2013.

He was born in Teaneck, NJ, son of the late Louis and Marie Stark Garland Drexler of Holden and Harwich, Massachusetts. Bill graduated from Wachusett Regional High School in Holden and Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY, where he was a member of Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity. He retired from the Carson City Municipal Golf Course, where he had worked for many years as greenskeeper.

Bill was a talented musician who had mastered both guitar and saxophone. He remained a lifelong Red Sox fan. His sense of humor and friendliness will be much missed.

He is survived by his sisters, Joanne Garland of Greenfield, Massachusetts, and Karen Christiansen and her husband, Larry of Vero Beach, Florida, as well as a niece, nephew and grand nephew, all of Los Angeles.

Funeral services will be private.
