More than 230 people attended the 2013 Recovery Day 5K Run/Walk on Saturday at Pioneer Park.

The seventh annual Recovery Day provided a full slate of events at Pioneer Park.

More than 230 people participated it the Color Blast 5K Run/Walk, which was followed by the annual softball game and barbecue between people in recovery and law enforcement.

Mitch Overlie won the run with a time of 19 minutes, 7 seconds and was followed by Doug Nassif (19:09) and John Hancock (19:54). As for the softball game, law enforcement prevailed, 17-14.

Kolor Me Kaia gathered a team of 47, while Banner Churchill Community Hospital was second with 31. Best Team Costume went to the Snow Leopards and Best Costume to Wendy Shank.
